Nancy O'Dell's professional career started in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and news reporter at WPDE-TV. Later, she was a the morning news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD-TV. Her articles from Charleston concerning how Charleston police handled DUI cases in a manner that was lenient, resulted in an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division.
